Egypt indignant by a photo of a couple having sex in the great pyramid

A couple is being investigated by Egyptian authorities after a photo of them holding sexual relations at the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza became viral on social networks.

The Danish photographer Andreas Hvid launched a video and shared a photo on his website where he is apparently having sex with a girl at the top of the famous pyramid.

In a video broadcast on Youtube you can see the couple climbing the pyramid, this would confirm that the photo is real, however, authorities are investigating to check the authenticity of the video.

In the description of the video, Hvid has also included a link to a website where many such photographs are displayed at historical, important and illegal sites

The 4,500 year old pyramid is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world climbing the pyramid is strictly forbidden. Visitors are allowed to climb to a certain point until 5 pm.

If the video and photo are found to be authentic, it is likely that authorities will also sanction officials deemed negligent by allowing them access to the couple.
